Roman Štětina studied between 2005 and 2015 at the University of West Bohemia and the Institute of Art and Design in Pilsen, the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main. He is laureate of the ESSL Award from 2011 and the winner of the Jindřich Chalupecký Award in 2014. The three motives from his Drawing Lesson series are digital studies for objects made from plaster and silly putty. Digital techniques have become also for artists important tools to design and verify their ideas.
