'La classe operaio va in Paradiso' (The working class goes to paradise) is a classic of political cinema in Italy from 1971 directed by Elio Petri with filmmusic by Ennio Moricone. The film describes the failure of a radical workers' strike in a factory that cannot prevail against employers and, above all, against unions. Mladen Stilinović ronically illustrated with the collage what the paradise looks like.
The print used shows a sailing regatta or sailing school off the coast. Paradise is a strictly regulated holiday idyll.
