Unravel - The Power and Politics of Textiles in Art at the Barbican Centre in London presents works by around 50 artists who work with textiles. The earliest works date from the 1960s. Divided into six different themes, the exhibition explores the role of textiles in art and its potential to challenge prevailing narratives, rebel against systems of power, honour memory and uphold a spirit of hope.
