Manifesta 10, the travelling European Biennale, took place from 28 June to 31 October 2015 at the world known Hermitage in St. Petersburg. The former winter palais of the Russian Zars has been since the time of Katharine the Great (1729–1796) home to one of the most important art collections of European art. Katharina the Great had more than 100 ambassadors employed in whole Europe to acquire important art works for her collection. Russia was opening up to the Western European culture, music and art. Manifesta 10 took place amidst the protest of many artists and in spite of the complex political situation, which has become even more dramatically with the annexation of Crimea by the Russian army.

The film by Pavel Brăila documents playfully the curatorial and organizational team of Manifesta 10 around chief curator Kasper König.
