If we ask ourselves in which universe we live, then religions, think tanks, and modern science provide a variety of explanations. Mystics and gifted people might find answers in rituals, in meditation, contemplation or in physical and emotional ecstasy.
The starting point of 'Turba Turbo' was a modernist circular flower
stand that Iza Tarasewicz associated with the Large Hadron Collider at
CERN near Geneva – a machine that accelerates elementary particles to
near the speed of light and collides them with eacht other.
In her work, Iza Tarasewicz imitates experimental arrangements of particle physicists. She explores the relationship between art and science and gives an aesthetically seductive shell to an action and work far removed from our reality of life.
