We mourn the passing of Roman Uranjek. The co-founder of the two internationally influential Slovenian artist collectives IRWIN and NSK passed away at the age of 60.

In 1984, the NSK collective, Neue Slowenische Kunst, established itself in the Slovenian Republic of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The collective included the group Laibach (1980), the performance theater Gledalisce Sester Scipion Nasice (1983), the design group New Collectivisme (1984), and the group IRWIN - Dusan Mandic *1954, Miran Mohar *1958, Andrej Savski *1961, Roman Uranjek *1961-2022 and Borut Vogelnik *1959.

In addition to his involvement in the collectives, he pursued his own artistic career. Since 2002, he created in the series 'At Least a Cross a Day' more than 25,000 works.
