The group exhibition Her Barbaric Luxury presents works by Šejla Kamerić, Jasmina Cibic and Selma Selman at Trotoar in Zagreb. The title refers to the reaction to the premiere of Stravinsky's ballet Le Sacre du printemps - The Rite of Spring at the Champs Elysées Theatre in 1913. The day after the premiere a french headline in a newspaper described it as a 'Barbarity' . This event serves as historical reference for Jasmina Cibic's work 'Her Barbaric Luxury' from 2022. The reaction was due to the rupture of continuity, a claming of space and the challenging of established social patterns which is where the works by Šejla Kamerić, Jasmina Cibic and Selma Selman intersect.
