Kunsthalle Basel presents thefirst solo exhibition in Switzerland by Czech artist Klára Hosnedlová, born in 1990. Titled GROWTH, the exhibition unveils sparse lunar landscapes within the Kunsthalle, featuring sculptural installations that meld science fiction aesthetics with traditional handicraft. The artist derives motifs for her embroideries from preceding non-public performances, where she orchestrates and captures peculiar actions, brutalist backdrops, and retro-futuristic costumes.
