Croatian conceptual artist Mladen Stilinović, born 1947 in Belgrade, passed away in July 2016 after battling a serious illness. He was one of the most important figures in the croatian art scene as member and founder of many artistsic movements like the „New Art Practice“ or the „Group of Six“ with Vlado Martek, Boris Demur, Željko Jerman, Sven Stilinović, and Fedor Vucemilovic, active in Zagreb in the second half of the 1970s.
