As part of the Art Basel Film Programme, curated by Filipa Ramos and Marian Masone, Kyriaki Goni will show her computer-generated video ‘The Mountains Islands Shall Mourn Us Eternally’ as part of the programme ‘The Political Life of Plants’. The film will be presented at Stadtkino Basel on 12.06.2024 at 20:45. Afterwards, the artist will be present for a Q&A discussion.
Kyriaki Goni was the first Artist in Residence of the 2021 ArtScience Residency, which was jointly organised by the Art Collection Telekom and Ars Electronica in Linz. The work ‘Not Allowed For Algorithmic Audiences’, which was created during the residency, is part of the Art Collection Telekom and is currently being shown at the exhibition ‘Group Therapy’ in Prague.
