Paulina Ołowska's work encompasses painting, installation, sculpture and performance. She has a keen interest in the visual language of the 20th century, particularly at the intersection of modernism, postmodernism and mass media. She frequently references historical figures, art movements, popular imagery, puppetry, fashion, the world of advertising, design and architecture, combining these influences to create her own unique visual vocabulary that celebrates the power of female creativity and representation.
Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at major institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
