Georgia Sagri is a multidisciplinary artist whose activist and artistic practice is based on autonomy, individual and collective empowerment and self-organization. The perseverance she mobilizes in her performance and occupations of public space has led her to develop techniques for warming up and physical well-being based on breathing. Since 2020, she has been sharing these methods in face-to-face sessions under the name IASI, the Greek word for recovery.
Her works have been presented at documenta 14 in Kassel and Athens (2017), the Istanbul Biennial (2015) and the Lyon Biennial (2013).
