With Bucolica Anna Hulačová (*1984, Sušice, Czech Republic) creates a world where ancient narrative traditions, mythological symbols, and art-historical references intersect with questions of agriculture and ecology. Her hybrid figures and machines –crafted from concrete, ceramics, wood, and honeycombs – merge industrial aesthetics with natural materials. In a playful formal approach, the artist explores the tensions between idealization and industrialization, nature and civilization, community and individuality, as well as tradition and progress.
