The Bauhaus Museum in Weimar presents a soloexhibition by Danica Dakić. In her works from Zenica Trilogy the artist links drawings of the Total Theatre by Bauhaus founder Walter Gropius with plans of the Bosnian National Theatre in Zenica. The concept of Total Theatre was designed in the 20es of the XX century to overcome the boundary between stage and auditorium. The city of Zenica, nowadays suffering from pollution and unemployment used to be a booming centre of industrialization in socialist Yugoslavia. The architecture of the city and its theatre are testimonies of these former days.
To be seen until March 1st 2020.
