This year, the annual art festival Hallen celebrates its 7th edition in the heart of the borough of Reinickendorf in Berlin.
Taking place during this Autumn's Berlin Art Week, Hallen 07 brings together well over 30 participants, including presentations by some of Germany's most critically acclaimed art institutions, international corporate collections, galleries, performances, artists and designers.
Alongside major public institutions Hallen continues to welcome corporate collections to present at the festival. Returning for the 5th time the Art Collection Telekom presentation will feature Tobias Putrih's interactive installation 'Mudam Studio' which incites visitors to participate in the creation of a large-scale sculpture on site. Also on view is Nilbar Güreş’s work 'Monstera' a sculptural plant reaching out its leaves and copper wires into the space like tentacles. The Mercedes-Benz Art Collection returns to Hallen with an exhibition on the exploration of forms within the tension of abstraction anticipating its 50th anniversary in 2027. Newcomer Arab Bank Switzerland Art Collection, which focuses primarily on digital art, will exhibit works by four artists from their collection, including a large-scale LED installation by Swiss artist Andreas Gysin. Also making its debut is the Kienbaum Collection.
