Nilbar Güres and Nevin Aladağ at Biennale Bregaglia 2022

Nilbar Güreş and Nevin Aladağ are part of the Biennale Bregaglia 2022 which focuses on the connection between the villages of Bergell. The curators Bigna Guyer and Anna Vetsch make this connection in the geography of the valley, the forces of nature, the arrangement of the villages and various natural historical events and socio-historical developments. The trade route to the south, the construction of the pass road and the Albigna dam, the Reformation and the witch trials are central. The invited artists were encouraged to engage with this surrounding.
