Fondazione D'ARC presents Aneta Grzeszykowska’s first solo exhibition in Italy. The exhibition offers an extensive overview of the artist’s work over the past two decades and additionally premieres works created in the summer of 2025 during her residency at the D’ARC Foundation.
During her stay in Rome, Grzeszykowska closely examined the city’s urban fabric and its distinctive atmosphere. This engagement resulted in the new photographic series Daughter, developed and produced between Italy and Poland. The work further elaborates the conceptual questions first introduced in MAMA (2018). Originally presented at the 59th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, the project is shown here in a partial selection. At the same time, it deepens and expands the artist’s ongoing exploration of simulation, representation, and identity.
