Petrit Halilaj has been commissioned with the new installation for the Iris und B. Gerald Cantor Roofgarden of the Metropolitain Museum of Art in New York. The artist, who was born in 1986 in Kostërc in Kosovo (former Jugoslavia), has expanded his workgroup 'Abetare' from 2015.
Petrit Halilaj is since 2014 part of the Art Collection Telekom. From the 'Abetare' series are two sculptures in the collection. The wallpaper, which belongs also to the series is installed permanently at the Headquarter of Deutsche Telekom in Bonn.
