Works by Czech artist Vladimir Houdek are presented in a solo exhibition at Mönchehaus Museum Goslar. The show includes a loan from the Art Collection Telekom ‚Untitled' (2015).

Vladimir Houdek was born 1984 in Nové Mėsto (Czech Republic) and lives in Prague. He studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vladimir Skrepl´s class. In 2012 he was awarded wiht the famous Jindrich Chalupeckÿ Prize for young artists.

The artist works with strict geometric shapes. Circle, triangle, diamonds seem to defy gravity and are put in a metaphysical limbo by the artist. Colours are dark, mostly white, grey, brown and black.
