The winner of the Kurt Schwitters Prize 2026 is Nevin Aladag.
Since 1996 the Kurt Schwitters Prize has been awarded every two years to internationally renowned artists who make an important contribution to the development of contemporary art.
It is endowed with 30,000 euros and associated with an exhibition at the Sprengel Museum Hannover.
The prize is awarded by Niedersächsische Sparkassenstiftung.
