The 'Purvītis Prize' named after the latvian painter Vilhelms Purvītis (1872–1945) is awarded every two years. Founded in 2008 the Purvītis Prize supports latvian artists in their visibility in Latvia and abroad.
Paulis Liepa, part of the Art Collection Telekom, is nominated for his exhibition 'The Cabinet of Fine Arts' which was shown from 23.03.-06.05.2017 at Mūkusala Art Salon. A show presenting all the eight finalists can be seen at Latvian National Museum of Art from 23.03.-09.06.2019.
