One hundred years after Herwarth Walden’s first and last German Herbstsalon (autumn salon) in 1913, Shermin Langhoff began her tenure as artistic director of the Maxim Gorki Theatre with the 1st Berliner  Herbstsalon in 2013. Now she’s launching her final season at the Gorki with the 7th Berliner Herbstsalon. For her farewell, she has invited both long-term collaborators and new artists to the Berliner Herbstsalon. They will use old and new works to, in light of the present, reflect on, reclassify and (re)imagine for the future the critical art practices, struggles and resistances which were negotiated over this period.

Among the nearly 100 contributions and participating artists are Nevin Aladağ, Luchezar Boyadjiev, and Danica Dakić.
