Under the title Trembling Empire, the Museum of Fine Arts in Liberec dedicates a solo exhibition to Hungarian artist Zsófia Keresztes, exploring ecological questions from a feminist perspective. The exhibition presents new sculptures that combine mosaic techniques with used textiles, addressing the tension between stability and fragility as well as the invisible labor of women. Inspired by organic forms and nature, the works reflect on motherhood, family bonds, and the hidden aspects of female existence.
