Gran Elefant dret - Miquel Barceló

Anlässlich des Jubiläumsfestes '30 Jahre Telekom' wurde die Skulptur 'Gran Elefant dret' des spanischen Künstlers Miquel Barceló vor dem Headquarter der Deutschen Telekom in Bonn enthüllt. 

Der rund 8 Meter hohe, auf dem Rüssel balancierende Elefant, verweist darauf, dass auch Unmögliches Möglich gemacht werden kann.  Für Tim Höttges ist 'der tanzende Elefant ein Sinnbild für die Haltung und Zukunft des Unternehmens. Er steht für Mut, Wandel und Balance. Er verkörpert, wofür die Telekom steht: Stärke, die beweglich bleibt. Größe, die Verantwortung übernimmt. Und den Willen, auch morgen aufrichtig und neugierig zu gestalten.'

On the occasion of the anniversary celebration “30 Years of Telekom”, the sculpture “Gran Elefant dret” by Spanish artist Miquel Barceló was unveiled in front of the Deutsche Telekom headquarters in Bonn.

The approximately 8-meter-tall elephant, balancing on its trunk, symbolizes the idea that even the impossible can be made possible. For Tim Höttges, “the dancing elephant is a symbol of the company’s spirit and future. It represents courage, transformation, and balance. It embodies what Telekom stands for: strength that remains agile, size that takes responsibility, and the will to shape tomorrow with honesty and curiosity.”
