Lada Nakonechna was born in Dnipropetrovsk in the former Ukrainian Soviet Republic. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv until 2009. Since 2005, she has been a member of the artist group R.E.P. (Revolution Experimental Space), which was formed during the 'Orange Revolution' in Ukraine in 2004. Over the years, more than 20 artists took part in the group. Among them are Anatoly Belov, Ksenia Hnylytska, Nikita Kadan, Lesia Khomenko and Volodymyr Kuznetsov, whose works are also represented in the Art Collection Telekom.
Lada Nakonechna works with found photographic material and intensive research. In her works, she has addressed the situation of Polish and Ukrainian temporary workers in Western Europe and also the consequences of the Russian war of aggression against the autonomy of Ukraine, which was launched in the east of the country in 2014.
Transience plays an important role in many of her works. Like her wall drawings at Deutsche Telekom's headquarters, the 100 square meter wall drawing from 2010 in the Bibliotheca Albertina at Leipzig University is executed in pencil and can easily be erased or obliterated.
