The Deutsche Telekom has presented for the first time parts of its Art Collection Telekom in the exhibition 'Fragile Sense of Hope' at me Collectors Room in Berlin.

Fragile Sense of Hope conveys the aesthetic and intellectual journey of building a young collection with a focus on contemporary art from Eastern and Southeastern Europe. With insights into the narrative power of this largely unknown art scene, the exhibit offers the unexpected discovery of a high artistic standard that is often defined by other art historical developments. The exhibit broadens horizons and invites visitors to contemplate the fragility of Europe’s many private and public hopes.

An accompanying program has featured talks and discussions about the status of the contemporary art scene in Eastern Europe.

Curated by Nathalie Hoyos and Rainald Schumacher in collaboration with the me Collectors Room/Olbricht Foundation.
